Even The Dogs Love Mickey
Everyone loves Mickey Mouse, even these dogs, and why wouldn’t they? He has been one of the world’s most recognizable and beloved cartoon characters since being created by Walt Disney in 1928. His first appearance was in the short film “Steamboat Willie.” He then continued to appear in several other short films throughout the ’30s and ’40s and eventually transitioned to feature films with “Fantasia” in 1940.
In 1978, Mickey Mouse was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of fame, becoming the first cartoon character to do so. A prime-time special was released in 2018 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the character’s creation.
