We’ve all done something we’ve regretted, and it didn’t take long for this little girl to realize her mistake of getting on the ride. Rollercoasters are a staple of amusement parks worldwide, and these thrilling rides offer a unique blend of excitement, fear, and adrenaline and have become an essential part of the experience.
The first modern rollercoaster was built in 1884 at Coney Island, New York. Named the Gravity Pleasure Switchback Railway, it featured a lift hill, drops, and tight turns and was an instant success. The ride’s popularity prompted other parks to build their own, and the industry was born.
