During a volcanic eruption, large amounts of magma, gas, and ash are spewed, which causes the temperature to jump by several hundred degrees. We can only imagine how unbearable and painful it could be for any human being. This volcanologist, however, was fully equipped with the right gear to avoid burns.
Still, to get a closer look at the volcanic activity in Vanuatu, the team had to use drones to fly over the volcano. Unfortunately, they lost two devices due to the extremely high temperature, which the material of the devices failed to withstand. Still, they captured amazing footage of the activity.
