Bird’s Eye Power: 40+ Of The Most Fascinating Drone Shots You’ll Ever See!
Algae Or What?
This image seemed like colorful algae or jellyfish, but in reality, this displays a fishing net being thrown by a Vietnamese fisherman from his boat. The picture ranked second place at the 2018 Dronestagram International Drone Photography Contest is photographer Trung Pham’s entry that exhibits vibrant color contrast.
It is worth noting that fishing is a major source of income for the Asian nation surrounded by water, with the striped catfish trade boasting over 500,000 fishermen. The most common fish found is Pangasius catfish, locally called “Basa.” With this boat’s big net, we wonder what the catch of the day was.
What’s A Plane Doing Here?
We don’t usually see planes in a secluded area, more so in the middle of a forest, so how on earth did this happen? This is the brainchild of photographer David Kovalenko, who takes it to his Instagram to share drone shots of this aircraft. Based in Oregon, this creative often documents the breathtaking American landscapes of his state.
Whether this was a plane that fell or this used to be a vacant spot where the aircraft was parked remains unclear. From the looks of it, the vehicle isn’t old, suggesting that it could have just been placed there not too long ago.

We reckon that both the owner of this drone and the duck were surprised by each other because of this expression. We surmise that this was a flying duck, which may sound shocking to a lot of people who didn’t grow up on a farm.
Ducks really do fly, thanks to their long wings that can make them travel at 80 kilometers per hour. Experts say these birds have ten primary feathers that are stiff and located furthest from the body. They are essential in flight, and those who have deformities have these special feathers cut to stop them from wandering.
