Aftermath of a Natural Disaster
This is not a photo of the apocalypse but rather the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, which slammed Puerto Rico in September 2017. From this drone shot, we can already tell that this was very destructive, causing an estimated $90 billion in damages, which made it one of the costliest hurricanes in history.
It was a Category 4 hurricane, making it the strongest storm to strike the island since 1932. The hurricane left almost all of Puerto Rico without power and without access to basic services, and we can only imagine how painful it was to see this scene in real life.
