Sugar Ray Leonard is one of the greatest boxers of all time. He had an active boxing career from 1977 to 1997 which earned him numerous winning titles. Some of his prestigious titles include world titles in five weight divisions, the lineal championship in three weight divisions, and the welterweight title’s undisputed king.

Sugar was part of an exclusive clique of boxers, like The Fabulous Four, who fought each other throughout the 1980s. The group consisted of other famous boxers like Roberto Durán, Thomas Hearns, and Marvin Hagler. Sugar Ray’s hefty resume consisted of a feat of 36-3-1, and he also was the first boxer to win $100 million in purses.
