It’s good advice unless you decide to take it literally, and that’s precisely what the player in the picture did… in a 2014 match between the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers, the punter Spencer Lanning was footed in the head by the opposite player Antonio Brown.
Video footage of the moment made it to YouTube and became a hit among American football fans. Nonetheless, Brown’s acrobatic foot move was a dangerous one. In the NFL, an average of 242 players per year have sustained concussions, according to data from Cognitive FX.
