É comum que celebridades usem automóveis caros e luxuosos para ostentar sua riqueza ou simplesmente para se locomoverem com estilo, segurança e tecnologia. No entanto, alguns membros da elite da indústria do entretenimento o fazem porque têm um amor genuíno por carros. O rapper T-Pain é um exemplo disso: segundo a Forbes, o artista tem uma coleção de 32 carros escolhidos por ele. O cantor se locomovia no interior de um Bugatti Veyron vermelho que teria debitado US$2,5 milhões (R$10 mi) da conta do artista.
Ele foi vendido em 2014 junto com mais 24 automóveis. Isso ocorreu devido a um buraco no radiador, já que era o mais utilizado por T-Pain, e os custos de reparo seriam cerca de US$90 mil (R$360 mil) — quase o preço de um carro novo. Ele vendeu o automóvel por US$1 milhão (R$4 mi) e comprou uma Lamborghini Aventador, uma Ferrari e uma McLaren com o dinheiro! Além disso, ele nutre um grande amor pelo Chevy Impala, do qual possui cinco modelos diferentes! Isso é que é gostar de carro.
