Antes mesmo de ser um futebolista contratado, Tardelli passou sua juventude em times importantes, como Santos e o São Paulo, que o contratou logo em seguida. De lá para cá, ele jogou em 11 clubes de futebol, incluindo times estrangeiros, como o russo Anzhi Makhachkala, o Al-Gharafa do Catar e o chinês Shandong Luneng. Durante sua brilhante carreira, Diego Tardelli conquistou prêmios como três Bolas de Prata, uma Chuteira de Ouro da revista Placar, e de Melhor jogador da final da Copa do Brasil de 2014. O cara é um verdadeiro craque.
Embora provavelmente tenha dinheiro para comprar uma mansão de milhares de metros quadrados, Diego Tardelli optou pela “simplicidade” de um apê em Itapema, no estado de Santa Catarina. O imóvel conta com 840 m² e, embora inclua uma decoração impecável produzida por uma design de interiores, a verdadeira beleza do apartamento está fora dele: a vista para o mar catarinense é deslumbrante, e o campo de visão é de quase 360 graus.
