Casi 40 Años De La Tragedia De Chernobyl; ¡Asi Se Ve Hoy!

El principal culpable de la tragedia de Chernobyl fue el yodo radiactivo, responsable de muchas de las muertes posteriores al desastre. Los efectos devastadores de este isótopo afectarán gravemente a los socorristas y trabajadores de la planta, con consecuencias fatales. Tras la explosión, algunos sobrevivientes vieron una extraña luz azul alrededor del reactor, un fenómeno causado por la ionización del aire. Esto generó una nube radiactiva de yodo que los trabajadores inhalaron, causando daños irreparables en la tiroides y otros órganos vitales.
La mayoría de los afectados sucumbieron a cáncer de tiroides en los años posteriores. Hoy en día, las pastillas de yodo son una medida preventiva para evitar que este isótopo cause daño en futuras emergencias nucleares.
