El Fin De Una Hermosa Ciudad
La plaza principal de Pripyat permanece como un recordatorio silencioso de las consecuencias del desastre de Chernóbil. En su corazón se encontró el Hotel Polissya, un edificio emblemático en aquel entonces, ahora rodeado por un paisaje transformado. Los árboles, arbustos y plantas han tomado el control, creciendo libremente en un lugar donde una vez florecieron jardines cuidadosamente cuidados. Sin embargo, el abandono y el riesgo radiactivo han dejado la zona intocable, congelada en el tiempo.
Pripyat, alguna vez una próspera ciudad de casi 49.400 habitantes, era un lugar vibrante y joven. Con una edad promedio de 26 años, la mayoría de los residentes eran profesionales educados, parte de un futuro prometedor que quedó interrumpido abruptamente por la tragedia.
