En Pripyat, todavía se pueden encontrar algunos dosímetros abandonados, pequeños dispositivos que, aunque ya no funcionan, usaban ser esenciales para medir la radiación. Fueron utilizados principalmente por los trabajadores encargados de limpiar la zona tras el desastre. El hecho de que estos instrumentos estén dispersos por el lugar revela claramente que los peligros seguían presentes durante las labores de limpieza.
Hoy en día, estos dosímetros sirven como un recordatorio sombrío de lo que enfrentaron aquellos valientes, y curiosamente, son similares a los que los turistas reciben cuando visitan la zona de Chernobyl. Estos artefactos no solo miden la radiación, sino que también preservan la memoria de una tragedia que marcó a generaciones enteras.
