Although she had been a multi-sport athlete during her youth, Alex started playing soccer only after she turned 14. Morgan was the youngest member on board when she was picked up by the United States women’s national soccer team in 2009 and happened to be the first pick during the Women’s Professional Soccer draft in 2011. She laid her hands on an Olympic gold by helping her national team emerge as winners by defeating Japan in 2012. Later on, she captained her team in another major win over Japan in the finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Morgan and her husband, Servando Carrasco plied their trades for Orlando Pride and Orlando City respectively and led a comfortable lifestyle in their Winter Park nest in Florida. However, after Carrasco shifted to LA Galaxy, there has been a distance of 2500 miles between the two. The couple is planning to get back together soon probably because the distance is putting a strain on their relationship.
