Sendo filha de Brian Williams, Allison nunca esteve muito longe da indústria do entretenimento. Mas não foi a televisão que atraiu essa beleza estonteante e sim a atuação. Ela estudou na Yale University e se formou em 2010 em Inglês e enquanto estava estudando em Yale, Williams foi membro do Just Add Water por quatro anos e parte da web série do YouTube College Musical. Já Brian, acabou ficando em apuros por um tempo quando foi suspenso do trabalho porque aparentemente falou um pouco demais. Sua filha estava ao seu lado o tempo todo e, felizmente, todo o incidente não trouxe problemas sérios para suas contas bancárias ou saúde.
