Desde los años 70, donde debutó en la película La casa en que vivimos, y luego por sus papeles en Los títeres, La madrastra y La invitación, sus más grandes éxitos, Gloria ha sido merecedora de grandes premios y reconocimientos.
Gloria Munchmeyer también ha destacado en el cine, ganando la Copa Volpi por Mejor Actriz en cine, por su actuación en La luna en el espejo. Además, ha sido ganadora de cuatro Premios APES como Mejor Actriz principal de televisión, Mejor actriz de teatro, y Mejor Actriz de reparto. Sin duda, Gloria se siente agradecida con su público y la vida que le dio el mejor talento, la actuación.
