A apresentadora de TV e cantora Carnie Wilson teve esse tipo de infelicidade quando decidiu fazer uma cirurgia de bypass gástrico para perder peso – uma das primeiras celebridades a ter feito isso em 1999! Com ela, Carnie perdeu 68 kg, apenas para ganhar ainda mais. Depois que ela deu à luz sua filha Luciana, ela optou por uma cirurgia de banda ajustável em 2012. Seu vício por comida permaneceu e foi difícil para ela controlá-lo. No entanto, ela está tentando voltar a um estilo de vida saudável, com uma boa dieta e programa de fitness, a fim de manter seu peso.
