Tendo sofrido de diabetes tipo 2 desde a adolescência e a perda do pai para as doenças temidas fez p comediante e ator Anthony Anderson perceber que ele tinha que agir rápido. Mas ele queria frequentar academia e contratou um nutricionista que o ajudou a fazer uma dieta paleolítica. O programa que consistia em verduras orgânicas, livres de pesticidas e peixe e frango livres de hormônios, ajudou o corpo de Anderson a transformar a gordura corporal em músculos puros. Ele também pedalou muito e fez caminhadas para manter a saúde e ajudar no programa de perda de peso.
