La parte triste de la historia es que su escuela la expulsó por haber estado ausente demasiado tiempo durante la filmación de la película e incluso Robin Williams escribió una carta a la autoridad en la escuela, pero nada funcionó. Lisa luego actuó en Matinee como Sandra y se retiró de la actuación a una edad temprana en el 2001 para perseguir una carrera como escritora. La exactriz infantil ya ha escrito dos libros y ha mencionado que no tiene planes para regresar a la actuación. Creemos que ella tiene buenas inversiones un plan de seguro resuelto.
