Being the son of one of the most iconic figures in films, Douglas Fairbanks Jr. just couldn’t stay away from the entertainment industry. But since he was around at the time of World War II, it was evident that he would join the army. Not only did he serve the nation but he went on to become a much-decorated officer. Even after the war was over, he didn’t leave his base and retired as a captain in 1954. Thankfully, he didn’t require any injury lawyer when he went to stay in his retirement home.
