These Celebrities Served In the Army Before Becoming Famous, Some of Them Were in World War II
Gene Autry
Musician, rodeo performer, and business tycoon Gene Autry had a fulfilling career spanning over six decades. Long before the war happened, Gene launched a career in singing and went on to act in films, too. He enlisted in the army in 1942 and became a military veteran. Thankfully, he didn’t have to involve a disability lawyer once the war was over. After he came back from the war, he joined the rodeo and later took a hiatus from work. But retirement homes were not ready for him yet, so he became the owner of a baseball team as well. After a fulfilling life, he passed away in 1998.
