These Celebrities Served In the Army Before Becoming Famous, Some of Them Were in World War II
Alan Alda
The American director has laid his hands on the Emmy Award a whopping seven times, and his notable works include Crimes and Misdemeanors and The Aviator. He served for the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps at Fordham University before he made his place in the Army Reserve where his deployment was for a period of six months. Alan has had an unforgettable experience with the United States Army, and that might have helped him to a great extent while shooting for the role of Hawkeye Pierce in the CBS show, M*A*S*H. We hope the 82-year-old veteran has all his life insurance plans in place, and we wish for his good health.
