These Celebrities Served In the Army Before Becoming Famous, Some of Them Were in World War II
Drew Carey
The American comedian and actor is a name to reckon with when it comes to stand-up comedy who is popular for The Drew Carey Show, his very own sitcom on ABC. Drew served the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for six long years. During his stint, Drew developed a passion for stand-up comedy and performed for the first time. Carey joined hands with the United Services Organization and has paid several visits to army bases in parts of Iraq on a regular basis. We guess, instead of confining himself to retirement homes after he calls it a day, Drew can opt for some quality time with the military veterans.
