These Celebrities Served In the Army Before Becoming Famous, Some of Them Were in World War II

Pat Sajak

Pat Sajak, the host of popular game show Wheel of Fortune, is a well-known television personality, but many are not aware of the fact that Pat was with the United States Army for a period of time. He joined the army in 1968 and was in Vietnam while taking up the job of a finance clerk. He was also employed with the armed forces radio, working as a disc jockey. Sajak confessed later that he had inadvertently messed up President Nixon’s Christmas address to the army in 1969. We hope Pat has availed an affordable health insurance for himself, and we are happy that he is doing well in his career even at the age of 71.
