Clint Eastwood

The American filmmaker and actor garnered international fame and recognition for his movies like The Bridges of Madison County, Where Eagles Dare, In the Line of Fire, Pale Rider, Gran Torino, and many more. Eastwood served as a swimming instructor and a lifeguard at Fort Ord and was later promoted to the position of a corporal. In 1951, the military aircraft, Douglas AD-1, crashed into the Pacific, and incidentally, Eastwood was on it.
