Clark Gable
It is hard to forget Rhett Butler from Gone With The Wind! Often called The King Of Hollywood, Clark Gable had started his career as an extra, working in the silent movies of that era. It was after trying his hand at various occupations that Gable turned out to be a successful actor. He got married twice and needed the help of divorce attorney to get out of them. However, his marriage to Carole Lombard made him very happy, though it was short-lived, for Lombard died in an air crash. Though Gable must have gotten her life insurance, it left him devastated. Soon, he joined the US Army Air Forces. He reached the level of major before he left.
