Patty Duke and Sean Astin
Patty Duke’s son, Sean Astin, has a story that would put the film, Mamma Mia, to shame. When he was born, Patty Duke and John Astin were together, and Sean believed them to be his parents. But a paternity test much later confirmed that he is the son of a person who was married to Patty for only 13 days.
However, he has a great relationship with all his father figures and doesn’t mind all the scandal that is associated with his birth. In fact, after his mother divorced with John Astin, Patty got married to Michael Pearce, and Sean grew up calling him Papa Mike! Sean has definitely achieved major success as an actor, being best known as Sam from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
