Sharon Rooney started her career in the field of comedy. She performed on stage for years and finally landed a role in My Mad Fat Diary which gave her enough recognition to be cast in a few more projects like Brief Encounters and Two Doors Down. However, talented girl that she is, she wanted to explore other roles and was tired of being stereotyped as the fat girl. She started working out and included a lot of cardio exercises. That helped in bringing down the weight a bit and eventually, she lost 25 pounds. It is good that she didn’t go for the surgery and opted for the natural way to weight loss.
