Robert Downey Sr.
Robert Downey Sr., el actor y padre de Robert Downey Jr. murió mientras dormía el 7 de julio de 2021, después de luchar contra la enfermedad de Parkinson durante más de 5 años. En su homenaje póstumo, su hijo se refirió a su padre como un “verdadero inconformista” que se mantuvo “notablemente optimista”, a pesar de pasar una cantidad significativa de tiempo lejos de los reflectores.
Protagonizó y dirigió éxitos como To Live and Die in LA y Boogie Nights. Downey Sr. nació en 1936 en Manhattan y comenzó su carrera como director con tres comedias experimentales. Era conocido como el director y actor de algunas de las comedias y papeles más subversivos que jamás hayan aparecido en las pantallas estadounidenses.
