Ao lado de Adam Sandler no filme Gente Grande, David Spade é um grande astro da comédia que também estrelou em filmes como Joe Sujo, Mong e Lóide e Eu os Declaro Marido e Larry. Sua participação no talk-show Saturday Night Live durante os anos 90 foi o elemento catalisador de seu sucesso, e depois de todos esses anos ele pode se orgulhar de um patrimônio líquido de US$60 milhões (R$240 mi).
Mesmo com toda essa grana disponível para ser torrada com o que ele quisesse, David Spade decidiu não aplicá-la tanto em carros. Ele dirige um Buick Grand modelo 1987, que não é mais fabricado. O veículo custou US$33 mil (R$125 mil) e, embora não seja tão caro quanto um Cadillac, parece ter um design inspirado nos antigos modelos dessa marca. Isso significa que dá para gastar pouco em um carro e, ainda assim, manter o estilo.
