Shirley Temple had been a popular child star in the course of the Great Depression. She starred in a few films such as Heidi, Captain January, and Bright Eyes. Before that, she had portrayed a few roles as she grew up before changing her career path and stepping into politics. Lori Black, her daughter, had once been a part of Melvins, a sludge metal band. She left the band in 1991 only to make a comeback just two years later. She was credited for Houdini, a popular album churned out by the group.
