Making waves with her role in Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation in 1994, Rene Zellweger earned acclamation and appreciation for her portrayals in Jerry Maguire, Bridget Jones’s Diary, Cold Mountain, Empire Records, and Cinderella Man. After taking a brief hiatus from the industry, Rene returned with What/If, an anthology series on Netflix in 2019. Moving on to her properties, Zellweger listed her Connecticut farmhouse for sale in 2014 at an estimated price of $1.6 million. The Texas native laid her hands on the estate by shelling out around $1.32 million in 2004. She made it a point to make some improvements in the landscape and added terraces, gardens, and even dry-stone walls to maintain her privacy. The property happened to be her retreat for the weekends.
