Kalizma, the luxury yacht, was gifted to Elizabeth Taylor by Richard Burton in the year 1967. Previously, it carried the names, Odysseia, and Cortynia, and was used during World War I and World War II by the British Navy. M/Y Kalizma is specifically a 165’ Edwardian motor yacht and derived its name from Kate, Liza, and Maria, Burton’s three kids. The interiors have 4 en-suite cabins, 1 en-suite owner’s stateroom, a modern gallery, a reading area, a bar saloon, and even a dining room. We would call it a nice investment made by a Richard Burton in love.
