ABBY LEE MILLER: BANKRUPTCY FRAUD
It is only reasonable that Abby Lee Miller tries to protect her earnings. However, when it means smuggling Australian currency into the United States, you can definitely expect backfire. The star of Dance Moms admits that she was looking to hide the money paid her for appearing on the favorite Lifetime show. After pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud, she served a year in prison and paid a fine of $40K. The situation could have been a lot worse for her if her prison sentence was any longer, but fortunately for her it wasn’t, and her fine wasn’t as huge as it could have been either. She was let off the hook, but we’ve yet to see where she goes from here.
