Kim Basinger may have been a Hollywood sweetheart at one time, but her bankruptcy hardly garnered a lot of pity. The actress reportedly purchased the entire town of Braselton, Georgia and shortly after, began having money troubles because she spent her entire net worth on the purchase. Eventually, she was forced to sell it at a mere $1 million to clear off a settlement claim when she inadvertently withdrew from a production.Too much ambition seems to have been her downfall as she clearly wanted to have far more than what she had at the peak of her career. What could have been a neat life was completely destroyed due to pure greed and nothing else. Rich people!
