MICKEY ROONEY: MISMANAGEMENT & ABUSE
Any man who had worked as hard as Mickey Rooney did in his day, should never be wanting of money. But after 80 years of enjoying seamless career success, Rooney, who should have had a net worth of almost a billion dollars, filed for bankruptcy with only $500 in his account. Between suffering abuse at the hands of his 8th wife and son and divorce settlements for his four divorces, the actor rarely had time for financial planning. It’s always difficult to hear of our stars suffering like this, and no one deserved this fate less than Mickey, who used to be an upbeat person throughout his life. However, he won’t be living in the luxury that he’s earned for himself. The poor guy.
