Mickey Rourke ohne OPs?
In diesem Szenario hätte sich der Schauspieler einer nicht-invasiven Behandlung gegen die Auswirkungen des Alterns unterzogen, was ihm ein ähnliches Gesicht wie heute verliehen hätte. Rourkes Ziel war es, 16 Kämpfe als Profi zu bestehen, bevor er um eine Weltmeisterschaft kämpfte. Leider zog er sich nach nur acht Kämpfen im Jahr 1994 ohne Titelkämpfe zurück.
Seine Gesichtsverletzungen durch das Boxen waren so schlimm, dass er viele Operationen hatte, um sie zu reparieren. Nach seiner Pensionierung kehrte Rourke zur Schauspielerei zurück und war wenig unbekannt, bis ihm seine Rolle als Randy „The Ram“ Robinson in „The Wrestler“ einen Golden Globe (2008) einbrachte. Er erhielt auch eine Nominierung als bester Hauptdarsteller, kam aber letztendlich zu kurz.
