TOUTE LA VILLE DE PRIPYAT A ÉTÉ ÉVACUÉE EN UNE NUIT
Pripyat est une ville qui a été bâtie près de la centrale nucléaire de Tchernobyl pour accueillir les personnes qui y travaillent. Les autorités locales ont d’ailleurs veillé à ce que ces personnes soient comme chez eux dans cette ville, allant ainsi jusqu’à régler leur police d’assurance vie et maladie.
La ville comptait en outre jusqu’à 50 000 habitants pour la taille d’une ville minière aux États-Unis. Elle comptait aussi un hôpital, 15 écoles, 3 piscines couvertes et 10 salles de sports parmi toutes ses infrastructures. Pripyat a pourtant été entièrement désertée en une nuit à cause de la catastrophe.
