Personne ne sait avec certitude ce qui a poussé la mariée à s’immoler par le feu sur l’autel (et il n’est même pas certain que le diable lui ait volé sa robe de mariée), mais c’est un moyen infaillible d’attirer un public.
Les flammes ne sont pas particulièrement bien dessinées, mais elles parviennent tout de même à transmettre une atmosphère infernale. Une chose est sûre cependant : le mari doit avoir des sentiments sérieux pour sa nouvelle épouse.
