ZACHARY TAYLOR – PRICE UNDETERMINED, SPRINGFIELD PLANTATION, LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY

Zachary Taylor started his career in the army and became a major general. His heroism rose to its peak during the American-Mexican war. Unfortunately within just 16 months into his term, he expired.

He was born into a family of wealthy planters in Virginia. However, he couldn’t leave a mark behind during his presidential tenure which was, of course, very short-lived.

His house in Springfield happens to be his house from his childhood where he had spent over two decades of his youth in. He got married in the same house which was built by his father and also had his kids there. Must have been a special place for him. It also could have served as his retirement home had he not faced an untimely death!
