GEORGE H. W. BUSH – $21.5K, 1947 STUDEBAKER

George H.W. Bush was born into an affluent family. His maternal grandfather, whom he was named after, was called George Herbert Walker who happened to be a famous businessman as well as a banker.

Though he wanted to pursue higher education and go to college, his dreams had to be put aside after the Pearl Harbor incident impacted him deeply, prompting him to join the Navy. He did well as a fighter plane pilot, and once he was released from his post, he revisited his dream of completing his education and enrolled in Yale University.

He moved to Texas and had huge success in the oil business. It was not all hunky-dory in the beginning but it was sheer hard work that helped Bush become a business magnate and remove all scares of bankruptcy. During his time as the 41st US president, the Berlin Wall fell and Soviet Russia dissolved, too. His favorite car, the Studebaker, is vintage now and can cost about $21.5K.
