JOHN ADAMS – PRICE UNDETERMINED, PEACEFIELD, QUINCY, MASSACHUSETTS

Along with George Washington, John Adams is also considered to be one of the Founding Fathers of the nation that is North America. He served as Vice President to George Washington and went on to become the second president of the USA and served from 1797 to 1801.

Though he grew up with a humble background, the pressure to achieve something great was always there, and it is safe to say that John Adams had the potential to do so. He went to college at Harvard University and decided to become a lawyer later on, but when the French-Indian War started, he decided to fight for his country and become a soldier.

The house he and his family bought in Peacefield, Mass., was quite small in size and not to the liking of Mrs. Adams. So they made further renovations and soon it was double its original size. It functions as a tourist attraction now and the artifacts from the Adams family are kept here, too.
