Lake Bled, Slovenia
Lake Bled is considered one of the best lake fishing destinations in Slovenia. Here, anglers will find numerous fish species of trophy size, and they can enjoy the stunning view while they try their luck. This lake is amazing as it was formed after the recession of the Bohinj glacier and it has no large natural tributaries and is only fed by a few natural springs.
Several types of catching fish are permitted at the lake, including spinning, bottom, bleak, and trolling. Fly fishing is also allowed especially when the water level in surrounding rivers is high. However, fishing season is only from April 1 to December 31.
