Pauline Collins & John Alderton – Together Since 1969
The BAFTA award winner Pauline Collins is notable for her performances in “Upstairs, Downstairs” and its spin-off “Thomas & Sarah.” She first met John Alderton in 1962 while working on an episode of the TV show “Emergency Ward 10.” By 1969, they were married; fast forward over five decades, and they’re still very much in love.
Collins and Alderton have two sons and a daughter named Richard, Nicholas, and Kate. Collins is still very active in the industry, unlike Alderton, who retired from acting in 2010 after working in the film “Magic Hour 2.” The couple prefers to keep their family life away from media scrutiny.
