The Power Plant Remained Open

Nobody had ever thought that both the Soviet Union and Ukraine would keep the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant open until 2000. Only reactor four was covered and work continued. Individuals working at the power plant had to adhere to the stringent labor laws that were outlined and were under constant monitoring of the international advocacy groups. We are not sure whether their accident lawyers really thought of a way out, but a decision to work in that environment could prove lethal. A worker could only work for around five hours a day for one month and then had to go on a mandatory leave of 15 days.
