Sigrid Alegría es una de las actrices que ha pertenecido a la edad de oro de las telenovelas chilenas. Es del selecto grupo de las actrices mejores pagadas en la televisión y sus interpretaciones han quedado en la memoria de muchísimos televidentes.
Ha sido premiada por el Festival de cine Iberoamericano y el premio Altazor en proyectos cinematográficos y desde hace tres años mantiene una relación con Pancho Germain, un comediante que hace stand up comedy y que viene cobrando popularidad con los años.
La diferencia de edad de la pareja es de 14 años y la prensa fue muy mala onda al inicio de su relación, pensando que la diferencia de edad era mucha y el romance no iba a prosperar. Pero parece que todos se equivocaron, ya que la pareja sigue junta hasta el día de hoy.
