María Luisa San José hizo su debut en el planeta el 22 de enero de 1946. La capital española, Madrid, fue el sitio de María Luisa San José. Se ha establecido como una respetada actriz y productora con papeles en películas como Country, SA (1985) y WWW (1975).
La actriz española tuvo que dejar la actuación para centrarse en su salud y felicidad. Sin embargo, ha estado en auge desde la década de 1960, cuando sus actuaciones ganaron reconocimiento en el mundo de la comedia.
