W 1988 roku, zaraz po ukończeniu studiów na warszawskiej uczelni filmowej, Katarzyna Chrzanowska dołączyła do obsady serialu “Crimen”, gdzie zagrała córkę podchorążego, co miało duży wpływ na jej życie osobiste. Na planie tego serialu spotkała się również z Bogusławem Lindą, jednym z najbardziej charyzmatycznych aktorów końca lat 80., którego obecność wprowadzała dużą dynamikę.
