W 1997 roku, podczas próby zdobycia rynku anglojęzycznego ze swoim nowym albumem, Edyta Górniak przebywała w Londynie. W tym czasie Robert Kozyra był znaną postacią w świecie radiowym. Choć publiczność postrzegała go jako dominującą osobowość, Kozyra sam odczuwał pewien niepokój przed spotkaniem z wokalistką. Górniak, skoncentrowana na swojej karierze i niezainteresowana miłością, po spotkaniu z dziennikarzem całkowicie oddała się nowo odkrytym uczuciom do niego.
