Pod koniec lat 80., Piotr Zelt i Ewa Gawryluk zostali przyjęci na prestiżową szkołę filmową w Łodzi, gdzie jako obiecujący studenci aktorstwa poświęcali czas na doskonalenie swoich umiejętności, a także na pogłębianie swoich emocji i relacji osobistych. W trakcie studiów między nimi nawiązała się silna więź, która trwała przez siedem lat, a efektem ich związku były narodziny córeczki. Chociaż ich miłość wydawała się wystarczająco silna, aby przetrwać próbę czasu, ostatecznie zdecydowali się rozstać. Po wielu latach Ewa Gawryluk szczerze opowiadała o bólu, jaki towarzyszył jej w trakcie rozstania z Piotrem, który był nie tylko jej partnerem, ale również ojcem ich dziecka.
