Maruschka Detmers – Actrice
Maruschka Detmers verliet Nederland op zeventienjarige leeftijd om een nieuw leven op te bouwen in Parijs, waar ze aan de slag ging als au pair en zich wilde verdiepen in acteren. Haar doorbraak kwam snel toen de gerenommeerde regisseur Jean-Luc Godard haar talent ontdekte en haar de hoofdrol gaf in zijn film Prénom Carmen uit 1983. Dit betekende het begin van een internationale carrière met rollen in Franse, Italiaanse en Amerikaanse films. Een opvallend moment in haar loopbaan was de gewaagde scène in de film Il diavolo in corpo (1986), die haar bekendheid een nieuwe lading gaf. Hoewel ze in 2016 nog te zien was in de serie Marseille, is het sindsdien stiller rondom haar. Fans kijken met verlangen uit naar een nieuw project waarin Detmers haar unieke talent kan laten schitteren.
